I couldn't find this item at local stores, even those that sold Braun shavers but Amazon carried it. This product is basically a lemon scented alcohol mixture that cleans and lubricates the Foil and Cutter Block. I only clean the shaver every five shaves and you can tell the difference in how it glides over your face after the skin oils are removed from the Foil. If you have sensitive skin I would recommend cleaning after every three shaves.
A 3-pack of cleaner cartridges. They work. Nice lemony scent. Enough said.
Relieves Braun razor owner of chore of maintenance by automatically cleaning and lubricating in the "washing machine" base that comes with the razor. If you replace cutting comb every year or so (Braun, of course, says every 6 months), each shave will feel almost like a new razor shave. You can also brush out the razor head, brush out the comb under running water and let it dry overnight for a similar effect, but doing it every day feels like a chore.
This Braun system is about the best I've used for an electric. The item arrived promptly, so the seller is good, too.
I looked everywhere for the Braun refills and found them here on Amazon for the best price. My sister bought the shaver 4 years ago and my dad wouldn't use it. Now at 93 he is nicking himself with the regular razor. Just what I was looking for. They work perfectly.
